Out of concern for the health and safety of all involved, the First Responder Center for Excellence (FRCE) has postponed the National Fire Service Behavioral Health Symposium, originally scheduled for October 2020. The conference will now be held May 25-26, 2021, at the Westfields Marriott Washington Dulles in Chantilly, Virginia.
FRCE was looking forward to spending valuable time with attendees and speakers, especially as COVID-19 places incredible pressures and demands on the physical and mental health of our nation’s first responders. FRCE encourages all first responders to share guidance, relief, and support with one another and stands ready to assist during this crucial time.
The 2021 National Fire Service Behavioral Health Symposium will focus on the theme of “Boundaries, Resilience, and Post-traumatic Growth.” Researchers will deliver the latest information regarding behavioral health in the fire service, to enable attendees to transition this information into actionable activity at the department level.
